Reducing Waste and Improving Quality in Beverage Production
Nokian Panimo, a Finnish beverage company producing carbonated soft drinks and alcoholic beverages, faced a common challenge in beverage manufacturing: product changeover waste. Every time production switched from one product to another, hundreds of liters of off-spec product were lost during the transition.
To address this issue, Nokian Panimo installed an Inmec P2TC Brix sensor before their packaging line. The result: significant reductions in changeover waste and improved product quality control.

The Solution: P2TC Sensor with Gateway Integration
Nokian Panimo selected the Inmec P2TC sensor—a 2″ hygienic pipeline sensor designed for food and beverage applications. The sensor’s stability, accuracy, and wide measurement range make it suitable for the variety of products Nokian Panimo manufactures.
An optional Gateway unit provides additional capabilities:
