Nokian Panimo, a Finnish beverage company producing carbonated soft drinks and alcoholic beverages, faced a challenge common across the beverage industry: product changeover waste. Every time production switched from one product to another, hundreds of liters of off-spec product were lost during the transition.

Before each production run, the line operator simply selects the product on the control screen, and the system automatically applies the correct measurement parameters.
